at the Bozeman Yellowstone Internation Airport, the new 17,750-SF Central Valley Fire District Station 1 is revolutionary in its design.
A core value for the project was to develop and build a stand-alone decontamination building where vehicle and firefighter decontamination can occur. This design provides the functionality of cleansing and isolating the numerous carcinogens associated with structure fires, thereby preventing their introduction into the living and staging areas of the fire station.
This project was a huge success by every measure and achieved the following awards:
